Hello Genos!
Ex-Heretic Army pilot (have flown alongside some you - Dyphos springs to mind) returned to EVE just couple weeks ago. Been away for approx. 10 months.
Upon logging back in a message in my Inbox was instructing me to apply to Genos, obviously message had been sent around the time when Heretic Army was sabotaged. I realise that by now Heretic Army has become active once again, however 3 factors are keeping me from re-applying:
1. Not as highly active as it used to be - the boards are not overflowing with kills
(and I like blood...!)
2. Just a few days ago a change in leadership has taken place with MG moving on.
3. Amamake sucks and the Falcons still sit cloaked in top belt. Bastards...!
And... well here I am...
Approximately 19 mil sps, Amarr pilot at the core - with a branching out of the skills towards Gallente/Minmatar small/medium sized ships.
Enjoy flying Frigates (the Tech 1 kind in particular for cheap deadly fun), Ceptors rock my boat (will be in a sexy Taranis in 1 week), Cruisers & Battlecruisers. Competent skills for both Harbinger and Hurricane battlecruisers. Stealthbomber skills are nearly there - a lot of changes it seems to stealthbombers since I took a break - they seem useful for a change.
Why do I want to join Genos you may ask?!
Well... in a nutshell... you don't suck... Competent pvpers always on the lookout for action.
Looking at your killboard the type of small gang engagements you often take part in, is just the sort of action I want of the corp I am in.
Not to say that I will be sitting around waiting for the gang to log in... a solo roam never hurt nobody...
Why would Genos want me?!
Ain't an idiot, know how to PVP-fit a ship, will happily engage when outnumbered whilst praying to the PVP Gods to spare my measly little ship. May be rusty but I will spring back quick.
Also I was in EVE back in 2004 on another character. Sold that one when I buggered off on a travelling stint in 2007. That character was a member of Curse Alliance, Shinra corporation to be more exact. Saw a lot of action, flying with some pretty decent pilots, so have been round the block a few times. By the way I'm on UK time - but being a student means my log-in schedule is flexible.
