teaching people pvp is hard imo

I dunno. the people who have done my course have had serious skill bumps after just putting in 2 hours. but :effort: of doing them vs me actually having isk means I havent since AT. I do 1 on 1 tutoring only so I guess its a lot more effective than chilling in a corp would be

i didn't mean that it's hard in that it's not effective. i meant that doing the actual teaching is hard. if you were still doing your class then of course i'd try to send people your way. when we first started targeted aggression we considered making it more of a training corp and then getting people like you to do classes and such. but that's just more effort then most of us wanted to put in and a lot of our members joined PODLA precisely to avoid that sort of thing.

i usually point people to sniggwaffe, or if they are a little bit more convincing about wanting to do correct pvp i point them to tuskers. not sure what tuskers recruitment reqs are though. both great corps, although sniggs is actually a training corp so it's probably better to start there.

i guess i'd also recommend eve-Uni for people like this guy. Apparently Prom is teaching classes at Eve Uni? It seems most of us could learn something at eve-Uni!

Also, Red v. Blue. Actually that is probably the best best place to start. Good frig pilots are good everything pilots.

chunky, targeted aggression isn't really a training corp except for special circs cases. it's more to get a better idea of how well we get along with people before deciding to accept them into PODLA. teaching people pvp is hard imo and nobody in PODLA is interested in teaching so targeted aggresion is a bad corp to join if that's what you are looking for.

e-uni is a good place. As I start in 2009, I have no clue what I am doing. But I learn many PvP Basics (not sure if they are correct). i.e. I do not really have idea how to move a frigate around until I got couple punishers popped. Thank you for all the replies.
