So PODLA and BLAUH had a video making contest.

The Rules:

Become a MOVIE STAR! Enjoy fame and even a little bit of fortune. Here are the prizes:

1st, 500 mil

2nd, 350mil

3rd, 250mil

4th, 200mil

5th, 150mil

6th - 10th, 100mil

(So, yeah, you are pretty much guaranteed at least 100mil for submitting anything that abides by the rules. So no good excuse not to do it, right?)

You have two months to get footage and make a short PVP video. The videos will then probably be put up in the Hydra "Pubbie Bazaar" and can be voted on by anyone registered there. We will probably be allowing voters 3 votes that must be split or some such nonsense. Ties will be resolved by pentaly kick, no overtime.

1. At least three engagements per video.

2. All engagements must be from August 1st onward.

3. All enagements can be reused in other videos. So if you have some epic pvp video masterpiece that you are working on you can break us off a piece and submit it. Contestants may use video from the same engagement.

4. Less than 15 minutes.

5. Must be up on Youtube before October 1st.

6. Must also be up on evefiles for people who live on upside down continents and other bandwidth challenged individuals.

7. Multiple videos may be submitted. The votes you get for all of your videos combined equals your total score.

8. Open to all PODLA and BLAUH members. You may use out of corp alts.

I'm just making this shit up as I go so rules may change slightly if someone points out to me that I fucked something up.

So obviously the rules were set up to encourage submissions. I didn't want people agonizing over it too much, but everyone was limited to using fights from the two months the contest ran and to make their submissions by the end date regardless of how happy they were with the videos as they were.

voted for both Brutis and Djakku. Brutis had coolest vid, but Djakku had best music. Ottos was nice too, but a bit too much gang stuff.

tbh maybe genos should start doing combined vids since we arent so active. could be interesting to have a 30 min video with like the best bits from 5 ppl or so

Really liked Brutis vid but had more fun with Djakku's vid.

I liked the music in both

First post! Really enjoyed Brutis and Otto's vids, they really put my poor effort to shame!

p.s. I really want to see the fights where Brutis lost his tengu's, just out of morbid curiosity, we should get him to make a feature-length cinematic event of the year :lol:

Brutis video owned p hard, aside from a few bits where the footage seemed to disappear in the middle of the gang fight???

havent watched the other two yet but tossed me vote otto cause he's a better poster than djakku :D

I wouldn't mind editing stuff together if not someone else who's pro at it will.
