@chunky: I used to do a LOT of windsurf when I was living near the ocean as I grew up (so did that between 14 and 22). I still occasionally do in summer holidays if someone lends me a board/sail (it costs too much to have the equipment if you're very casual about it) otherwise bodyboard (don't feel like investing time learning real surf, learning curve is steep)

Now I'm leaving near the mountains, so snowboard in winter, and occasional soccer/bike ride with friends when I need to get a bit healthier again but I have no real interrest in sports not involving sliding/gliding.

An exception is badminton, I somehow like that.

Pretty much the equivalent of 'hai can't believe you guys go to the gym or pay to play sport lol, i did it once but got bored & it was hard lol'

No, I said paying a conglomerate to exercise was a ridiculous concept. You don't have to pay 80 dollars a month to play sport

Also I didn't say it was hard either, it was just boring. I'd much rather be kayaking out on the broadwater than pay to use exercise machines while watching a bunch of sweaty men in spandex lift weights and grunt and flex their biceps
