Good point Nasty, I'm gonna change the fit for next roam to get more lock range. Neither of your fits are possible without fitting implants. I eft'd three different versions, haven't decided which one I'm gonna choose.

you are right, i keep forgetting i got those genolution implants plugged in.

i fiddled about a bit between a sensor booster, sig amps and those locking range rigs. The rigs reduce the shield quite a bit actually. Here are my findings.

Below stats are with my skills, T2 loki links and no implants.

773 dps, 5662 voller (INMF).
9384 shield
116.19km locking range.


787 dps, 5415 dps (INMF)
7836 shield
135.99km locking range


787 dps, 5415 dps (INMF)
7637 shield
143km locking range


787 dps, 5415 dps (INMF)
9587 shield
111.72km locking range


It all depends on how far you want to be able to lock really. Incidentally, once you get further than faction Ultraviolet range (75+41) your volley damage drops quite dramatically as you go to longer range ammo so I would be inclined to lean towards the first or the last fit myself. Both will put us way out of drake range and really, right on the limit of where tornado pilots would want us to be if they are using faction ammo. What do you think ?

I went with invu fit since then you don't waste a rig slot. I also modified talos and naga fits for more targeting range.

FYI, if the point of non T2 guns was to save isk, the meta4 rails are more than T2s.

Today the following worked well enough if fractionally lighter in EHP and DPS

A WU-1003 is cheap for a 3% implant, just 1.5mil isk iirc. Considering those guns are 1 mil each, not 5, it works out. It has traded some range for that dps rig though. Good job T1 hybrids & lasers have all those different range options & fast reloads, eh?

Also, thoughts on the following? It's notably faster, more agile, better scan res, slight locking range, em resist, just a little less dps, tracking, optimal. Can do T2 ammo, basically that's just Javalin though for ganks. An EG-601 is also ~1mil for those who need a little PG to fit it.
