The funny part is the country is so poor we can barely afford police so most crime goes on unnoticed apart from the victims

Although funny story:
Some high-school age kids were stealing scrap metal from a scrapyard, aswell as taking impounded cars for joyride during nights, some people caught on this and on graduation night, the kids were at a party thing at their respective school.
A van rolled around while they were drinking around the corner, bags on heads and got taken to a shed, once morning they saw the sun and thought they were gonna be let go, but instead they got fucked up. Then they got dropped off in the city center with pissed pants, apperantly they got beat up by some professional people without leaving any bruises but their kidneys got really fucked up. No bruises meant that no proof and people would just brush their absence off as getting drunk on graduation night

actually i considered stealing some scrap metal from the latvian railway company thing that had some in containers laying around next to the railway, now kinda strangely putt off by that idea, i quite enjoy my kidneys
