Yeah they're mostly fine anyway, I don't know why I bothered writing that :negative:

MY GOD HOW DID I MISS THIS THREAD!!!!

honestly when i read the first post i was utterly confused. it looked like a bar story at first: guy flirts with girl only to find out shes a hardcore lesbian... but i was really puzzled as to why you would call them peacocks.

then i saw the photos and was so impressed!!!!

so questions:

1. where do you live? must need quite some space to house all of them!
2. did you get them?

also you need a better camera! if i live in your country i would literally just leave my camera at your place and have you take pictures of them.

I live in a peak park in the peak district (england), the peacocks live in the forest around the houses.

For the past 20 odd years all the peacocks have been born here but recently (just over a year ago now) we had to buy a female to try and get more chicks, but she is a hardcore lesbian so me and the neighbours have been talking about buying another female

Also, i shall change the name of the thread to avoid any confusion :P

Not much has been going on with the peacocks, the ducks evicted them from our garden so one of the females can make a nest.

Today i came back from collage, went out to feed her when i noticed the ducklings were hatching \o/

The mother was really hungry, ate 3 handfuls of seed and 2 pieces of bread as fast as she could.

2 extra pictures of the peacock on the other side of the house this morning:

If that peahen isn't going to put out, then at least the peacocks know a female that does. Even if it is a bit icky....

That is a fancy pants garden btw, pretty jelly here.

The main garden with the pond is a collective effort by us and our neighbours, ive just finished off scraping all the moss out between the pathway stones

Good weather atm, been eating outside as much as i can to try and get some pictures of the youngest male eating with the family but he seems to be chasing cunt destroyer with no luck unsurprisingly .

He is getting into the habit of calling up to my window when he wants food (mine is above the back door so he knows if i am inside or not) so i thought now is as good a time as any.

He refused the eat the cocopops until i proved to him that the coco rocks were all gone, i had to go and get the box and show him nothing was inside it.

Some pictures taken this morning, the ducks were working together to clear up a tonne of straw on the pond (which i assume was put there by the neighbours to clear up some oil or something idk)

Didn't take long for them to notice i was awake and instantly dropped thier job to get breakfast

Plus, bonus picture of the peacock after letting his tail feathers down.

Something i want to get some pictures of is the white duck annoying the peacocks. The youngest peacock always displays his feathers to chase the ducks off during feeding time, so this white duck does a lap around the pond, (around the same time it takes for the peacock to put his feathers down) then he comes racing back around forcing the peacock to re-display to ward him off.

I watched him do about 7 laps of the pond doing this on Friday, but didn't have the camera to hand.

On 2 related notes, I went to the zoo the other day, and a Peacock with his feathers up appeared to be trying to rape the shit out of something that wasn't a Peahen. I got some photos but if everybody posts pictures of Peacocks, where is the fun in Peacocks?
They had Otters, but I literally couldn't get a photo of them, they're fast and shy. Sorry Ottersmacker.

And while Fledge's parents were away a couple of weeks ago, one of the neighbours snuck into the garden and stuck 11 wild duck eggs underneath one of their Bantams. She hatched 7 of them and is likely confused as all fuck now. I don't know who is now supposed to raise 7 ducks, but I do know it's not me.
