Generally Aion is 'ok' up to about level 25-30, then you just hit a wall of grind, like serious grind. seriously. grind.

The main thing that completely fucks me off about Aion, is the animations in combat, best described through example, it takes you X amount of seconds to cast a spell, but then there's like a few more seconds to wait for the fancy animation of the spell, which once is cast cannot be interrupted or stopped until the animation is over.

This basically makes PvP (what Aion is supposedly all about) boil down to the stereotypical "start kicking each others shins and whoever has the biggest boots wins"

Furthermore, there's stuff in the game which takes infuriating amounts of time, and it's completely unnecessary. Two examples include quests which have you running around for 10minutes talking to NPC's then running back, then running back again etc. Some of (if not all) the maps are just really really poorly thought-out, everything is crazy far from each other, with no logical way of travelling fast between A to B. Yeah, it looks epic and beautiful, but it doesn't feel epic, because you can't explore everywhere anyway, so you feel like you're just being made to run around to waste your time.

It's frustrating because it's quite a decent game, but there are little things that cause so much frustration it turns the game from fun to a chore to play.
