Made mud on the running gear and lower hull.

Things you need:

Plaster + white spirit + dark brown enamel colors
Mix them all in a small cup to consistency of... MUD!
Take a normal brush, load it with mud and use the air pressure of the airbrush to blast them on.
I used 4 different colored mud and some pigments and gloss enamel black to create those wet parts.

Haha, everytime i go to my usual model shop i always come with shit i never intended to get.

Ok

Painted the pioneer tools and the muffler.

Bakelite parts were first painted tan yellow and metal parts black.
After that i used burnt sienna oil color to make the bakelite look + drybrushed silver ontop the black for a metallic sheen.

Drybrushing:
Get some paint on the brush then wipe it almost completly off. Then go through the details to get just a hint of paint to it.

I painted the muffler with pigments and wanted to make it extremely rusty for it stand out from the rest of the model.
I decided to use pigments for this as they dry for a bit dustier look and add a lot of texture to the surface.
So get some pigments in a cup and mix them with whitespirit for a paint like consistency. I used pure rust and some dusty and black colors for some variation.
The light makes it a bit more shinier than it actually is. It's really dusty looking and really matte.

Added pigments and oil stains to horizontal surfaces and some streaking grime to vertical surfaces.

Adding the pigments: Sprinkle them ontop of the tank then add white spirit with a brush to fix them in position.

Starting to look like being through some WARRING

The bugger got tracks!!!

Tracks were first painted black. Then some earth tones we airbrushed aswell.
Different washed were applied from rusty to dark brown. Mud made from pigments were brushed between the tracks
and all the high contact areas were drybrushed with silver.

Some more wear and tear and it should be complete soon.
Maybe I make a small vignette for it rushing through some barbed wire or shit.

Some plaster as base painted gloss black, then some earth tones added all around and to top it off some baking soda as snow.
Added a bush for some variety.
