3. About you in Genos
Why do you want to join Genos?
Since I started playing EVE 2 years ago, I was always fascinated by PvP and wanted to be one of the best. All of the corps I have joined where PvP related. This last year I was in The Bastards, where I was flying mainly solo and small gang, but ransom was a priority. Hence I was trying to fight not against the odds, except when soloing on frigs, where I would go in in almost anything I felt is killable (and often was right).
But a while ago I saw the Eve is Easy videos. I thought to my self that even I do know some of these stuff, these guys really know what they are doing. This is exactly the kind of flying style I want when I log in. I want to be able to always beat the odds and be in a group with like-minded people.
I tried to use these videos on my benefit when flying with the bastards, although that was not really our flying style.
In simple words, I want to be able to PvP against the odds and always be in control of the battlefield while flying with people that know what they are doing.
I know you are not recruiting but I had to give it a try.List any references you have in corp.
None. I did find out about you guys though through LS as I have been reading his blog and 1 vs 1 ing him often (flew with him once as well which totally changed my PvP thinking when in frigates) and then thought to apply after watching the videos.
Talk about, in brief, your past year in eve, your recruitment history and what you've been doing.
I started at EVE uni. As soon as I was in, I was only interested in PvP. I took my first fleet out (as an FC) after a month in game (2 weeks in the ccorp) and was trying all the time wolfpacks, FCing, soloing (when possible) etc. Then I joined the Executioners. I joined them after been introduced to them by a guy I tried to kill on my rifter (vs his Cane) and died. He then said he would help me out and that I should join. They where flying Shinies, BSes and such, which I was not interested at the time. After a wardec around The Bastards area and chatting with LS (that time we flew with together, before he was in Genos) he proposed to me to join The Bastards.
I am still in the entry corp of The Bastards, Meatshield Bastards, because I am a recruiter and mini director, however the Bastards have moved in a nullsec alliance and I am not interested in following and I feel that it is time for me to move on. To make it clear, I do not have anything with the lads, they are all my friends.
I also hold a blog as a personal diary with fights I enjoyed or learned stuff: http://rebeleden.blogspot.gr/
