Also your example refers to a specific tax they wanted to block. Most of the spanish protest the lack of jobs (52% youth unemployment rate nigga wassup) and the government in general; which accomplishes jackshit

It does not accomplish jackshit as you say, it focusses the governments attention from protecting banker's interests to protecting their own interests. You'll see. Well you won't. You will, but you won't see it. If you see what I mean, which you won't, because you're determined not to. But let's try to think where you'd be right now if violence didn't work.
