I heard good things about the second season recently so I looked it up... They had an episode arc called "Endless Eight" where for literally 8 episodes in a row they aired exactly the same episode except the characters said slightly different lines and wore different clothes. They were basically trolling their viewers.

midori was the show where this guys hand turned into a girl it was both perverted, cute and retarded in about equal measure (I love japanese tv).

and best anime of all time is probably Detroit Metal City
