I do agree with you though. I didnt mind some of the random stuff in Gurren, but it did piss me off how they reduced Yoko to a fanservice thing. she was an interesting character despite the fan service. should have had more stuff like the few eps where she goes off to be a schoolteacher after they form the city for example.

it was still watching, mostly because they were fanservicing the guys almost as hard as well
