Thanks for the reply, Chunky.
Yeah, I've been experimenting many Slicer fits, it's really an awesome ship, but hard to fit without pimping.
I still haven't found a fit that I really like, so I'll give prometheus' fit a try.
There's a few reasons why I decided to fit that fleet stabber like a vaga:
- A lot more agile, this fit is even more agile than a Cynabal without nanos/polys/nozzle joints, making it easier to hold a target (especially frigs), maneuver against gangs and get out of camps since I don't have a scouting alt.
- Same EHP, a bit less shield EHP, but more armor EHP. No kin/exp hole.
- Insane tracking, even with 425's. It does about 100 dps less than a vaga, but the perfect tracking compensates a little bit for it.
- Massively underrated and unexpected, I don't get blobbed as much as a Vaga and people don't want to get close because they think that I'm armor tanked.
So, yeah, it's pretty much a Vagabond with different pros and cons.
the major difference is the dps at range though. That 100 less dps than a vaga grows when you're sitting at 20km. Like you said though, the tracking would help somewhat against certain targets.
Go with what ched said. My advice is to try get into contact with someone in game and find out if there is a roam on. Showing that you can actually fly and then having someone post in here that you can will be a major plus.
yo intigo, it's not like theres not worse people in genos atm... i swear i saw a completely non-troll t1 fitted rifter with t1 ammo on the killboard
