how many hours do you think it took? painting alone was surely weeks!

lol it prolly would ( the model itself can be build with a motor as it is )

though paint might not like water as they are acrylics xD (would require some hardcore varnish ontop of it)



shit was made in 5 months on and off couple of hours a night pretty much (more on weekends usually)

I decided to finish some older projects this weekend.

The LCU and LCAC for the U.S.S. Wasp ( 1/350 scale so p. small )

Primed and rdy to recieve some paint




Finished LCAC with couple of tiny M1A2 Abrams

Painted the LCU black and while waiting for it to dry built 2 LAVs and 1 M60 Patton with reactive armor





Gonna paint them with a NATO woodland camo scheme

Made a small experiment on how to make water base.

I used toilet paper white glued to piece of wood.
Gonna need to get some high gloss lacquer for final gloss finish.

The detail set arrived though.



It's photo-etched brass. You cut it out then bend glue etc. to shape.
