I've gone with 2x3tb Western Digital Red which will be run as an internal raid array, apparently my motherboard says it can do this, so I'll see how that flies.

I'm done throwing money down the seagate toilet and Western Digital look like they have money to burn on the kind of marketing that labels drives as "Red" to mean "Designed for Raid" as opposed to "Blue" or "Green" (to mean eco warrior hd lol) and anybody who can come up with that kind of bullshit must have money to burn and therefore must be doing something right.

If I move my two Raided drives to a different Raid controller, will the new controller recognise this?
ie, if my motherboard dies and I get a new one, did I just lose all my data?
