btw with one of those solidifiers or whatever the cap with the booster is decently better, but i just wanted to check what kind of a tank i was looking at with resists. and the cap on this isnt THAT poor to begin with...

yeh fit a solidifer definatly. your biggest problem will be some faggot with multiple neuts and the fact that you dont have web or neut liek someone said so if you cant volley shit they will get away.

ok i think this is what ive come up with if you want to go the whole hog... given the style you arnt really required to jump into more than you are comfortable taking on (given the tengu scouting you)

im also giving thought to active huggins/lokis MAYBE as a late support ship for this. but im kinda worried about the cpu on them. at any rate i figure if all else fails late standard huggin or something of that nature will be more than able to help (if you are that worried about rocking this without webs)

my only really serious concern (cos i would ignore frigs for the most part) would be neuts =( or maybe some smartass tding hurricane.

im more a fan of the cheap one... obv... but the cpu is really tight as it is, so getting rid of that second cpu is going to cost you (guess you could try fiddle with faction enhancers)

Why not just use ACs like a normal person since apoc doesn't get a dmg bonus anyways?

you can, and itll make the fit really cheep but at the range you want to be engaging things the lasers will be doing much better dps, also the 10% per level cap bonus on the lasers makes the cap useage on lasers really nice on the apoc. + like said before instant swaping of ammo.

the advantage i would see in using the acs is you might have a slightly better chance at dealing with something that gets all up in your face.

you can do either comfortably but i like the laz0rz just for the fact that i assume recons and the like will be happier engaging this and probably chilling smack bang in its optimal.

the idea behind this is if someone sees a shield boosting apoc, they have to be thinking "whats that gonna tank... 2 maybe 300 dps..." which might get you some very interesting fights with recons / etc. which typically like to hang our right in your optimal.

AT WHICH BTW! pulse lasorzzz ive never had problems tracking recons or cruisers, in fact you can just about two volley most of the badly fit ones and the well tanked ones arnt that amazingly better.

like sure theres lots of issues with neuts and sure lots of stuff will get away from you, but i can see this being a lot of fun to fly and also get you some fights that you could never get in a mael or a rokh or anything else like that.

A single heavy neut on you will literally fuck you in the ass.
You're relying on them being bad pilots and not getting under your tracking... good plan~
