I have to contest this change purely on the fact that this is just turning this election into the same kind of farce the CSM was. The solo roamers (Anime) are only represented by one individual who cannot form a coalition with any of the others because they are all NC blobtards. This flawed system clearly favours one side and as such cannot be used in a fair and democratic election

Also is it possible to bring the anime thread back after kim was a faggot and deleted it?

It's the way our electoral system works lol - except in ours even after all the votes are counted parties can be like, oh shit we lost, then be like, hey Greens/Family first wanna join us so we can have more votes then the winning party? Greens be like, ok sure & that's how labor won the last election even though liberals got more total votes :)

People who form a coalition may only have one representative, so for example if Gobbins was to ally himself with Rhak, the two of them would have to choose which of them got mod, as forming a coalition should not entitle you to both seats in the mod parliament. Also, no more than one coalition per faction. So one coalition for the Anime Faction, Hater Faction, and Neutral Faction, meaning that the hater faction, as the largest candidate group, cannot used a flawed electoral system to frogjump two of their members into power against the wishes of the greater good

this seems like a lot of effort
can't you just campaign the shit out morel? idk

Yeah but under the current system that would be moot because the 4 anti-anime candidates can just combine their votes, choose two of their own to be mods and then it's just a farce, not an election.

That assumes just because there is 4 of them that votes would be evenly split ... they wouldn't
also the people have a fair idea who they're voting for when they vote say gobbins, they would know chances are his gonna pool his votes with Rhak for example. I really like how you are calling it a farce though lol because it really is the Australian electoral system at work

The australian electoral system IS a farce. Thus my point stands. As I saw it anyway, but I had misinterpreted what bronexus had in mind

ok, how else would you count our votes? It's not really a farce because people know when they vote greens they're really voting labor except it just means greens get a little more of a say within the coalition they're in with labor. Seriously Australia is one of the most stable democracies in the world... just take one look at where Gobbins is from and you'll agree.

Stable? We almost had a hung parliament at the end of the last election. I wouldn't call that stable

I hear the Australian goverment is a shining beacon of light and doesn't do absolutely retarded shit like ban a game that has minor drug refrences in it, while letting other games through that have massive violence and genocide in it.
