Started reading this thread, got to page 4 before I gave up.

Here is my interpretation of something relevant to the thread:

I used to be extremely fit, I would exercise 3-4 times a week for 2-3 (sometimes 4) hours of Krav Maga training and exercise/fitness. I paid monthly for that, but I got as much Krav training as I wanted, and they provided not only training in techniques and sparring but a lot of endurance training plus straight fitness/exercise classes and a yoga class as well. Did that for around a year and a half and I was extremely fit by the end of it.

A month or so before the start of the school year, I started going less and less, and I basically stopped all together (just going on occasion now) after the school year started in proper and I moved out of the city to school. I haven't lost much muscle mass but I'm noticeably weaker and I get fatigued/short of breath/overheated from much less exercise, and my muscles get tired more easily as well. Basically I can feel myself losing the results of all my training, although I think I could probably get back to my prime in about 2-3 months of work instead of a year and a half now.

it's got a better focus than other martial arts (karate) - still I think if you're only doing it to kill just bring a fucking gun, otherwise learn kickboxing.

"doing it to kill" isnt an excuse for unrealistic training, lack of sparring, and general incompetence.
