update: i made it to 20 / 20 / 20

dont think im going to make it to 3 sets of 30 by the middle of this month. gonna set more realistic goals.



will hit 3x25 by the 18th (the day after most of my midsems) and hopefully 3x30 by the end of august.

Next up you should try planks. (not the retarded pop-culture thing)
Much better than sit-ups and they work your entire core. You can also get better at them as you go. Say, 30 seconds for side plank, middle plank, and other side plank and try work your way up to 2 minutes each over a month or two. It gets extremely difficult but is one of the best core exercises you can do.

how do you do the side plank? i found a video of something with one arm on the floor other by your side and you are kinda in a triangle with the floor. is that it?

Even 20 seconds per side or something to get your started, but it's the sort of core strength stuff that is actually useful for any athletic sports/movements in general.

First 25mile / 40km TT for about 11 years this morning. I've been doing the mileage in training to ride this hard but due to the fucking mega wind was a bit unsure so decided to go blazing into the wind for the headwind 12.5 leg felt a bit shit after 8 miles or so but brawled through and got to the turn.

Backwind back was fucking flying, touching 45mph in places, finished with 56:46. which they tried to change to 57:23 which was wrong! Twats! Sore knackers and aching shoulders but pretty happy.

Weight was 12stone 2lbs ;)
