That's caffeine withdrawal. Withdrawal from any addictive substance causes severe headaches, tremors, fuzzy memory, agitation and a whole host of other issues

I've been getting headaches really easily for most of my life, and they're set off by pretty much anything; strong sunlight, dehydration, what have you. They became background noise after a few years, and I just dealt with them myself without using aspirin or whatever.

Couple months back, I noticed I was really having a hard time seeing the whiteboard in classrooms when my laptop broke down. I usually used the laptop to follow along with notes, but when it went out of commission, I noticed that I couldn't really read good size print from a distance. Everyone else seemed fine, so I went to the eye doctor to look into getting glasses.

Long story short, the optometrist told me I have slightly lower than 20/20 vision, and that my eyes need a bit of help reading anything beyond ten feet. He also told me that to compensate for this, and to handle a slight sensitivity to sunlight, that I've been unconsciously squinting to be able to see for a fairly long time now. He said that squinting for too long can add tension to the muscles behind your eyes, and that getting glasses that would help my out could reduce the number and severity of some of my headaches by 75%.

Now, I have no idea if the guy was bullshitting me, but I have had less headaches since I got used to my new glasses. Can some e-optometrist tell me if this shit is actually true? I have been getting less headaches lately, but not sure if placebo effect.

he wasnt bullshitting you. I'v had the exact same experience. my current glasses are a bit off atm so I'm constantly squinting a little and get headaches quite often. getting new ones on monday. gonna be n1.

it depends what casues your headaches though I guess. mine are pretty much always pressure based so this stuff makes a big difference (I get really bad migranes sometimes too and the same things make them more common)

Aye, what he was saying is true, sunlight sensitivity is a common cause of headaches, and any straining of the eyes, like squinting or spending a lot of time looking up/down can cause headaches as well. Good you got it sorted now though
