The back-story: I've moved to Maui for windsurfing, and I'm loving it as much as you might think. I've been sailing for some years, and I'm finally to the point where I've started trying doubles (2 front flips, one jump).

This footage was taken on my third day trying them by some awesome friends sailing with me. There are 2 attempts. The first one is reasonably close, the second is my now-patented 1 and a half. I figured I'd start this thread so you might vicariously experience my infrequent success, and laugh at my frequent crashes.

God damn you, I'd love to be able to afford to do that. I've been windsurfing a few times and it's one of the most fun things I've ever done, but the sailboards themselves are so damn expensive, it's nothing but a pipe dream for me at this stage

i can see the progress. in that previous video you posted last June you were flipping left and right and up and down, now there is much more control and stability. cannot state the same about your friend, though, it is like in russia, board surfs the dude.
